2 Common Engineering Framework

The pressure conversion, cavitation inception, bubble collapse, hydraulic power, specific energy, and scale up relations used in this article follow the common engineering framework established for hydrodynamic cavitation. Each application is evaluated by the additional mechanism that determines useful performance, including gas transfer and disengagement, bubble particle capture, crystallization, leaching, jet impact, or drilling hydraulics.
