Cookies and storage
Google Analytics operates alongside private server-log analytics. There is no cookie questionnaire, consent cookie, automatic policy warning, or popup. Continuing to browse is not represented as consent.
Browser technologies
- Theme preference:
archive-themein local storage remembers a chosen light or dark theme until cleared. Choosing System removes the saved preference. Reading and theme switching still work when storage is blocked, although the preference may not survive navigation. - Google Analytics: the Google tag loads automatically on ordinary public pages. It can set
_gaand_ga_<container-id>cookies. Google documents a default lifetime of two years, which browser rules and property settings can change. See Google's cookie documentation. - Cloudflare Turnstile: contact-form verification processes browser and network signals to resist spam. Its privacy notice describes provider processing.
- Server logs: GoAccess works from server request logs and does not set a reader analytics cookie. It is separate from Google's browser measurement.
Your controls
You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser, use a content blocker, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. There is no site-managed analytics preference to save or withdraw. The site does not automatically suppress the Google tag based on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Cookie blocking will not cause recurring prompts.
External websites and services have their own practices. See Privacy for recipients, records, and requests. Server-log analytics does not make Google Analytics exempt from applicable consent requirements, and this policy does not claim worldwide compliance.
